People often see a chiropractor for low back pain, neck pain, tension headaches, and joint or posture problems. Care is usually conservative — adjustment, mobilisation, soft-tissue work and exercise guidance — rather than medication or surgery. For severe, worsening or red-flag symptoms (such as loss of bladder control, leg weakness or pain after trauma), a medical doctor should be seen first.
